Korcula Island!

Korcula Island is the sixth largest island in Croatia stretching nearly 47 km in length.

The main town and most beautiful and famous city – Korcula Old Town – is also called „little Dubrovnik“ because of its medieval squares, churches and houses. It is rich in historic tradition and natural beauty.

Korcula Old Town is a small medieval city surrounded and well protected by walls that can easily be explored. While it has been an important strategic point in control of merchant ships sailing along the east cost of the Adriatic it now is still very well perserved and shining in its full light of centuries.

There are lots of small souvenir shops, restaurants and galleries. The local cuisine is typically Mediterranean in all sorts of restaurants which are spread all over the city with gorgeous views of the sea.

Rich in vineyards, olive groves and small villages Korcula Island is one of Croatia´s most treasured islands although not as crowded as some of its more northern counterparts as Brac and Hvar. This of course means that you can enjoy the island much better.

As one of Dalmatia´s most relaxing getaways, Korcula Island is very well connected to the mainland. Dubrovnik is just a short ferry ride away and a perfect idea for a shopping trip or some sightseeing.

Tremendous activities keep people of all ages generally engaged such as sailing schools, tennis, stand up paddeling, semi – submarine trips, scuba diving, mountain biking, deep sea fishing, kayaking, snorkeling  and many more.
